Prof. Velka Popova, PhD teaches Linguistics and Psycholinguistics at Episkop Konstantin Preslavsky University in Shumen. As a researcher at the  university`s Laboratory for Applied Linguistics, she works in the field of Developmental Psycholinguistics, Cognitive Linguistics and Corpus Linguistics. She has authored several books and numerous research papers and participates in the creation of a number of digital linguistic resources.
