Prof. Ephraim David
Professor Emeritus of History and Classical Studies at the University of Haifa, Israel
Topic: Contemporary Democracy and the Mixed-Constitution Concept.
Prof. Ephraim David is a professor emeritus of History and Classical Studies at the University of Haifa, where he served as Chair of the History Department, Dean of Student Affairs, and Dean of Humanities. He also served as President of the Israel Society for the Promotion of Classical Studies. His publications include five books and about fifty articles – in first-rank refereed journals and other prestigious academic platforms – on ancient Greek history (with a special emphasis on Sparta and Athenian democracy) as well as other subjects, including theatre and opera.
Dr. Yuan Cao
Dr. Yuan Cao, a Chinese artist, is currently studying for a PhD in contemporary Art and Philosophy at Lancaster University in the UK. Previously, she received her undergraduate degree in Painting and her master’s degree in Copperplate Printing from Shandong Academy of Fine Arts in China. Her artworks have been selected for exhibitions such as the 36th World Miniature Prints and Ex Libris Invitational Exhibition. Her current research focuses on Lacan’s psychoanalysis to explore the question of the unique conditions under which the gaze occurs in contemporary subcultural art phenomena.
Dr. Nathan Andrews
Dr. Nathan Andrews is an Associate Professor of International Relations at McMaster University and a member of the Royal Society of Canada’s College of Scholars, Artists and Scientists. Dr. Andrews’ research focuses on the global political economy/ecology of natural resource extraction and development as well as the scholarship of teaching and learning, with emphasis on epistemic hegemony, racism and whiteness in knowledge production and dissemination. He has published in journals such as International Affairs, Resources Policy, World Development, Energy Research & Social Science, Business & Society Review, Third World Quarterly and Globalizations including recent co-edited books, Natural Resource-Based Development in Africa: Panacea or Pandora’s Box? (University of Toronto Press, 2022).
Dr. Shameer Kasim
Dr. Shameer Kasim, is currently pursuing a PhD in European Union Law at Magna Graecia University, Catanzaro, specializing in migration and refugee law. He has worked with refugees in France and Bangladesh, witnessing their struggles firsthand. In 2023, he was a speaker at the Jean Monnet Activities Closing Conference on EU Law & Policies in Managing Migration. He also hold certifications in Arbitration and International Dispute Settlement from the Bureau for the Empowerment of Arbitration and Mediation.
Dr. Zakira Jahantab
Dr. Zakira Jahantab is an Assistant Professor in the Translation and Interpretation Department at the International Islamic University, Islamabad, Pakistan, and a focal person for student affairs. She holds multiple degrees, including a PhD, MPhil, and a Bachelor’s in Arabic literature and linguistics from the same university, as well as a Master’s in English linguistics from the National University of Modern Languages, and additional degrees in Islamic Studies and Political Science from Punjab University. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the International Research Institute, Islamabad. Her research focuses on translation and Arabic-English literature and linguistics, and she teaches subjects like diplomacy, marketing, legal, business, and scientific translation, as well as applied linguistics and machine translation. She also works as a simultaneous translator at national and international conferences, recently serving at the Saudi-Pakistan Seminar on Investment. Dr. Zakira has translated numerous books between Arabic and English and has published 20+ articles in Scopus, Web of Science, and ISI-indexed journals, collaborating with researchers from Egypt, the Netherlands, Iran, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Sri Lanka. She is a frequent speaker at global conferences and serves as a researcher, reviewer, and editor for various academic journals, including Dirasat – Al-Islamia, Afkar Journal, and Journal of Translation and Languages.
Mr. Werede Tareke Gebregergis
Mr. Werede Tareke Gebregergis is a lecturer at the Department of Psychology and Educational Administration, Asmara College of Education, Eritrea. Currently, he is pursuing his PhD studies at the Institute of Psychology, University of Debrecen, Hungary. His research focuses on positive psychology in higher education, wellbeing, cultural and emotional intelligence, multicultural personality, intercultural adaptation of student sojourners, and educational sciences.

Mr. Mehmet Özlap is a doctoral student at Marmara University Institute of Educational Sciences, Guidance and Psychological Counseling program. At the same time, He works as a research assistant at the National Defense University Naval Academy in İstanbul, Türkiye.

Mr. Caique Franzoloso
Caique Franzoloso is a psychologist and professor of Psychology and Medicine at the Faculdades Pequeno Príncipe (FPP). He is the founder of the Mental Health and Solidarity Economy Network of Curitiba and the Metropolitan Region (LIBERSOL). He is currently pursuing a PhD at the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), with a fellowship in progress at the Center for Social Studies at the University of Coimbra, in Portugal. He holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), and has researched the following topics: Solidarity Economy; Mental Health; Psychiatric Reform; Social Inclusion; Education and Public Policy. Dr. Edyta Wolny-Abouelwafa
Dr. Edyta Wolny-Abouelwafa is as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at Prince Mohammad bin Fahd University in Saudi Arabia. She is specialized in Arabic and Islamic Studies. Her PhD dissertation dealt with teaching Islam in Egyptian primary schools in the years 2013/2014 – 2015/2016. In May 2022 she received the honorary title “The Ambassador of the Initiative Etkallem Arabi in Poland” from the Egyptian Minister of Emigration. Her scientific interests include: contemporary Egyptian mass culture (with special emphasis on Ramadan TV series and patriotic songs), the socio-cultural situation of contemporary Egypt, globalization in the Arab world, dialects in Egypt, everyday life in Arab countries and issuing fatwas in the Muslim countries.

Ms. Adela Petrovic
Adela Petrovic is a Ph.D. candidate, lecturer and junior researcher at Charles University, Department of Social Geography and Regional Development, and Internationalisation Coordinator at the Geographical Institute (Czech Republic). She holds a Bachelor’s in Political Science and two Erasmus Mundus Master’s degrees, Comparative Local Development (CoDe) and Urban Studies (4CITIES). Her dissertation title is “Socio-spatial approach towards understanding identity construction: urban transformations in Prague Urban Region”. She is a principal investigator of a project funded by the Grant Agency of Charles University (GAUK), which focuses on gentrification and changing identities of former working-class neighbourhoods in Prague. As a member of the Urban and Regional Research Laboratory (URRlab), she participated in research projects funded by the Czech Science Foundation focusing on the integration and status of foreigners, suburban gated communities and current conditions of the socialist housing estates. Methodologically her research derives from mainly qualitative methods, particularly media and policy discourse analysis and interviewing. Her approach is interdisciplinary, with a slight inclination towards sociology, geography and political science.

Mr. Tianqi Yin is a student researcher at Beijing National Day School’s Middle Eastern Studies Department. His research focuses on discussing the currents of revolutions in the Middle East and artistic means to resolve ethnographic conflicts such as Palestinian hip-hop.

Ms. Mahima Ghosh Hazra graduated from University of Calcutta in the year 2019, then pursued a Masters Degree from University of Calcutta and passed out in 2021.

Dr. George Hikah Benson is a Ghanaian academic, politician and businessman. He is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Centre for Peace, Human Rights and Conflict Studies of the University of Education, Winneba-Ghana. He is author of over thirty (30) books and journal articles including the reference book published in 2021, ‘Ghana’s Development Under the 1992 Constitutional Practice: Gains, Challenges and Prospects’. Aside from being an editor of three books so far, he also reviews for many international journals. Before his scholarly engagement, Dr. George Hikah Benson was a Minster of State in the Republic of Ghana from 2005-2009; and is married with five children.

Ms.Areyana Proctor is a Journalism and Media Production student at the University of Colorado, Boulder. She engages in research concerning racial justice and equity. The recipient of leadership awards and fellowships, she hopes to continue to use the arts and research to push for positive social change.
