The fifth World Conference on Social Sciences and Humanities was held from 28-30 October 2022 in Milan, Italy. A key milestone towards broadening its global reach, the event hosted scholars and practitioners from Canada, South Africa, USA, China, Croatia, South Korea, Vietnam, Morocco, Egypt and more.
The programme contents covered an extensive range of interdisciplinary themes: from the psychological health benefits of nature, gendered intervention in households, to digital platform representation of marginalized populations, media reception for different social groups and policy making in space and radio astronomy.
By bringing experts together from across social sciences and humanities, the events reinforced its position as a global and inclusive platform for critical thinking, innovative research and collaboration across disciplines.
